How to Play Tongits
Basic Rules
Tongits is played with a standard 52-card deck. Each player receives 12 cards, with the remaining cards placed as a draw pile. The goal is to form valid card combinations and reduce your total points.
Card Combinations
Sets: Three or four cards of the same rank (e.g., three Kings)
Runs: Three or more consecutive cards of the same suit (e.g., 4-5-6 of hearts)
Gameplay
Players take turns drawing a card from the pile or picking up the discard. After drawing, you must discard one card. The game continues until a player calls "Tongits" (all cards are in valid combinations), "Draw" (the draw pile is exhausted), or a player challenges.
Winning
The player with the lowest total points from un-matched cards wins. Face cards (J, Q, K) are worth 10 points, Aces are worth 1 point, and numbered cards are worth their face value.
